Seller Checklists
A clutter free home that smells clean is your goal when prepping your property. Here’s a checklist to get you started:
Throughout the home:
- Vacuum, dust and mop each room where applicable
- Remove clutter
- Dust baseboards
- Dust ceiling fans
- Wash windows and all mirrors
- Dust furniture
- Replace burnt out light bulbs
- Repair any holes in walls & doors
- Touch up paint on walls, doors & trim
- Remove personal items/furniture to maximize space
In the bathroom:
- Scrub sinks, toilets, showers and bathtubs
- Remove personal items from countertops
- Have clean towels on display
In the kitchen:
- Wipe down countertops and all appliances
- Store appliances you seldom use elsewhere
- Organize your pantry and under the sink
- Scrub sink
- If needed, change drip pans on stove
- Clean the oven
Outside:
- Cut grass and foliage
- Wash windows
- Repair weathered areas of the exterior
